![]() Good Sales Don't Just Happen - They're Managed 13th Badger Invitational The UW-Madison Badger Dairy Club had a record setting day on Saturday, March 10. The 13th Badger Invitational Sale set a new high average of over $3,657 for a total of $176,400 on 47 live lots. The high selling lot, Budjon-JK Dundee Enya-ET, was purchased by Siemers Holsteins from Cleveland, WI, for $6,700. Enya, consigned by Budjon Farm and Joel Keitzman, is an 11/06 Dundee calf from the Elegance family. The second high seller of the day consigned by Todd & Mary Stanek took a bid of $6,300 from Oakfield Corners Dairy from Oakfield, NY. She was Lot 1, a 9/06 calf sired by Goldwyn from the popular AI family, Our-Favorite Conceited EX-92. Also, Marlow Nelson was inducted into the Badger Dairy Club Hall of Fame. The sale, managed by Tom Morris Ltd., saw cattle go to ten different states and Canadian provinces. |
