Elm-Lawn-G Complete Dispersal

A wonderful day indeed. The Elm-Lawn-G Complete Dispersal held in Seymour, WI on July 20, 2005 averaged $4,991 on 99 full lots. The homebred Holsteins, owned by Terry and Kathy Goerl and children Jenna and Kyle, attracted buyers from across America to over-flow the sale tent on a day in which everyone hoped to gain a piece of the Elm-Lawn-G prefix. Elm-Lawn-G Martini-Tw was the top bid of the day for $24,700 to buyer Conant-Acres Holsteins of Canton, ME. This fancy two year old is sired by Rubens from an EX-92 Red-Marker dam with 34,160M followed by an EX-92 Horace grandam with 35,760M 1332 1065 and over 162,000M lifetime, then three more VG & EX dams. The second high seller was a maternal sister to Martini, Elm-Lawn-G Linjet Milkshake EX-94. Milkshake sold carrying service to Durham due in March and had records to 30,970M 1226 1035. Ralph Lange, Watertown, WI, bought the powerful cow. Yet another member of the same family, the dam of high-seller Martini, Elm-Lawn-G Redmarker Madison *RC EX-92 brought $18,500 from new owners the Madison Partners, c/o Charles Westphal, Byron, WI. In total the Elm-Lawn-G herd was dispersed to buyers from 11 different states. Tom Morris Ltd managed the sale.
