Good Sales Don't Just Happen - They're Managed

The Harvest in the Hills was hosted by Kerry Knutson and held on Monday, October 15, at the Moser's Dream Prairie Farm, outside of Westby, WI.

The sale featured the best of the Kerry-K herd and guest consignments from the area. A nice crowd of active bidders appreciated the fine lineup and supported the sale.

Topping the sale at $27,500 to Dr. Atwell's Early Autumn Farm at Mt Horeb, WI was a big, beautiful Goldwyn daughter. Fresh a week with a deep AI-producing family with two brothers in AI, she created interest across the continent with six bidders over $20,000. She was offered by sale host, Kerry Knutson.

Next in line at $8100 was a young Sept '07 Regancrest-HHF Mac daughter from one of the 10 EX daughters of Penn-Gate Skychief Finesse 3E-95 DOM. The next two dams are EX-94 GMD DOM. Indianhead Holsteins selected this consignment from Regancrest and Butz-Hill.

The sales force included Joel Kietzman, Les Terpstra, Bryan Stremcha, Scott Culbertson, Scott Courtney and Don Mayer, with Dale Kranz on pedigrees. Managed by Tom Morris Ltd., Tom and Sandy were at their usual posts. The 80 lots averaged $4098 and were sold to breeders in eight states.
