Good Sales Don't Just Happen - They're Managed

The Idaho Convention Sale

The Idaho Convention Sale, held Friday, Oct. 21 at the Twin Falls Co.Fairgrounds in Filer, Idaho, averaged $3,311 on 38 lots of Holstein cows, heifers, calves, and ET's. Topping the sale at $9,100 was Lot #19 Wilonna RM Delicious-Red-ET , a Sept. 2004 Red-Marker out of a 4E-92 Red Inspiration with 231,530 3.6 8296 3.3 7537 Lifetime, backed by 3 more EX dams. Delicious already has a full sister that has scored VG-89 at 2Y. She was the consignment of Stouder Holsteins, Jerome, ID and the purchase of Larry Tjoelker, Custer, WA. 2nd high seller at $5,700 was a milking Integrity out of a EX-90 Conclusion maternal sister to Delicious. She was purchased by Jon Thiel, Kuna, ID and consigned by Bill & Donna Stoltzfus, Buhl, ID, who also bred the high seller.

The Idaho Convention Silent Sale, held at the Red Lion Hotel in Twin Falls, ID, averaged $354 per embryo on 98 embryos sold. The high selling lot at $600 per embryo was Lot # 59, 5 # 1 Rampage (Sept Storm X Lavender Ruby Redrose-Red EX-93; WDE Supreme Champion '05) out of Nehls-Valley Rngr Candy-Red (EX-90) w/ 191,700 3.7 7116 3.2 6207 Lifetime out of the Nehls-Valley Christmas-Red family. Consigned by Jason Lamoreaux, Ada, MI and purchased by Rocha Dairy (J-Roc), Wendell, ID. Both sales were managed by Blue Collar Cattle Sales, Wendell, ID.
