Good Sales Don't Just Happen - They're Managed

40th Annual Outagamie Spring Sale

A picture-perfect evening was the setting for the 40th Annual Outagamie Spring Sale on Friday, April 20th in Seymour, WI. Known as a sale for having good, honest cattle, this sale did not disappoint! A wonderful group of animals realized a $2,617 average on 53 whole lots. Two baby calves sold for $2,450 and 13 embryos sold for $8,425. Total gross income for the sale was $149,600, which is thought to be a record for the sale.

Topping this tremendous lineup at $4,750 was Mission-Bell LeDancer Boxer. Recently fresh a second time, she was consigned by Robin Krohlow and sold to Tracy Lepak of Custer, WI. At $4,500, Henry Wenders of Iron Mountain, MI took home MAV RI Jolly Jessie. Already VG-85 at 2 years, she was fresh again and looking to go Excellent. Callie and Brittney Ott of Forest Junction, WI were the consignors of this fine animal.

The sale was sponsored by the Outagamie Holstein Breeders and chaired by Mike Rohloff. Tom Morris was the auctioneer and Kevin Jorgensen handled pedigree announcements. Ringmen were Bob Sabo, Lynn Harbaugh, and Jay Jauquet.
