Good Sales Don't Just Happen - They're Managed

Sabofarm Complete Dispersal

Monday, August 20, 2007 was a marvelous day for the industry. A large crowd of breeders from across America braved the cool rainy weather at the Sabofarm Complete Dispersal, just a few miles east of Lambeau Field in Green Bay, WI.

Bob Sabo along with his talented daughter, Ashley, had developed a special herd sporting a 112.8% BAA and a 2x RHA of 25,187 3.7 941. They had enjoyed considerable success in the show ring.

Long-Haven Farms of Clayton, MI, selected the high seller at $17,300. This Durham Jr 2 Yr Old is from 8 Excellent dams with records from 1108F to 1868F. Fresh since the end of June and already scored VG, she carries unlimited potential.

Milk Source of Kaukauna, WI, added some more power to their exciting new herd. They gave $16,500 for the EX-92 young show-winning daughter of the popular Micheal Storm Avalance, backed by three VG high-producing dams. They also selected the sweetest young calf on the farm, a June Stormatic from the newly scored EX-96 Quincy, for $12,000.

The Schafer family of Musicmeadow in Kingfisher, OK made the trip to purchase 2E-94 Babes Progress, who recently was named All-WI Dry Aged Cow for 2007. This high-producing, deep-pedigreed individual sold due in November to Advent.

Alan Dykshorn of Ireton, IA, gave $15,000 for the All-Wisconsin Winter Calf of 2006 and Jr All-American nominee. She is sired by Durham and from three EX dams and sold bred to Goldwyn.

The sale averaged $5495 on 84 lots and was managed by Tom Morris Ltd.
