The TRIFECTA The 2005 Trifecta sale held June 3 and 4 at the Reynolds Dairy outside of Quincy, Washington, featured the Complete Dispersal of the River-Gorge Herd, the Rockalli Milking Herd Dispersal, and the Northwest Breeders' Rally. In total, more than 500 lots of registered and grade Holsteins, including 20 young sires, grossed in excess of $1,175,000 and were scattered to buyers from 9 states. Topping the sale at $11,000 was Lot 1, Deronda Durham Jessie VG-88, a special deep pedigreed contract cow that was purchased by Brent Roylance of Moses Lake, WA. Howard Binder of Ft. Lupton, CO, gave $9500 for Durham Jessie's fancy breeding age Morty daughter. |
