UW River Falls Silver Showcase

The University of Wisconsin-River Falls Silver Showcase was held on February 21st at the Mann Valley Lab Farm in River Falls, WI. Sponsored by the UW-RF Dairy Club, this sale commemorated 25 years of the organization's success. Selling 45 lots including two first choices highlighted a record breaking average of $2608.

The highest seller was Lot # 1, Any-Day Leduc Ashley-ET, a summer yearling consigned by Will Cordes of DeForest, WI. William Drinkman of Downing, WI, was the buyer for $5300. Tom Morris Ltd. of Amery, WI, managed the Silver Showcase.

UW-RF Dairy Club members Aaron Schroht and Brenda Cavanaugh served as Sale Chairperson and Business Manager respectively. Distinguished UW-RF Dairy Club alumni in the sales force were Jim Powers, Menomonie, WI; Mark Rueth, Deerfield, WI; Todd Doornink, Baldwin, WI; Bonnie Van Dyk, New Richmond, WI; and Jeannie Winkelman, Watertown, WI.
