Good Sales Don't Just Happen - They're Managed

WD-Homeplace Complete Dispersal

Bill and Elaine Drinkman, WD-Homeplace Holsteins Complete Dispersal held on March 21st just outside of Downing, WI drew a large and very active bidding crowd.

The herd featured several Red & Whites and red carrier Holsteins that gathered a great deal of interest across the US and Canada. The sale topper at $6700 was a GP-83 young Durham two year old backed by eight generations of Excellents from the family of Mark Prudence. This exceptional young cow was purchased buy the Miller Family Farms of nearby Glenwood City, WI

David and Paul Lemanski of Marathon, WI gave $5100 for the opportunity to develop an *RC two year old by September Storm. A daughter of Manfred Miracle EX DOM, who is a fifth generation EX with numerous sons in AI.

Fieldstone Farm of Sheboygan, WI bought Lot #1 for $5200. This special red Advent two year old with unlimited potential from the well-known EX-93 EX(95)MS 1640F Tiara was admired by all.

The sale averaged $2857 on 71 full lots with three baby heifers averaging $2016 for a gross well over $200,000. The sale was managed by Tom Morris, Ltd.
